Listly Privacy Policy

Listly is a CarXprt product operated by AltakLabs Inc.

Listly is a Chrome extension that helps car dealerships re-post their own inventory to Facebook Marketplace. This policy describes what the extension and its backend service collect and why.

What we collect

• Account: your Google account email and name, used only to sign you in and manage your subscription.
• Listing activity: vehicle data you choose to list (VIN, year/make/model, price, photos URLs from your dealership website), listing events (fill attempted, Publish clicked, published, marked sold), and bounded field diagnostics (the structured value requested and the value Facebook showed). When Facebook exposes a created item URL, we retain its item ID and URL. These diagnostics are retained for up to 90 days and are used to provide sync, troubleshoot fill accuracy, run sold-detection, and power your stats dashboard. They do not retain listing descriptions or image contents.
• AI requests: when you use AI descriptions or translation, the vehicle description text is sent to OpenAI to generate the result. It is not used to train models.
• AI photo cleanup (optional): only when you turn it on and list a vehicle, the selected vehicle photo is sent to Google (Gemini), a third-party processor, to remove dealer overlay graphics. We store a SHA-256 content hash of the original photo — never the original image bytes — plus the generated cleaned image, its dimensions, and per-request diagnostics (hashes, outcomes, timing; never image bytes). Cleaned results are cached so the same public dealer photo is processed once; this cache currently has no automatic expiry and entries are kept until removed, including on a deletion request.
• Billing: handled by Stripe. Card details never touch our servers.
• Referral attribution: when you arrive through a partner link or use a partner promotion code, Listly and FirstPromoter process a referral visitor ID, the referring partner, and subscription events so the correct commission and discount can be applied. The marketing site's referral cookie lasts up to 60 days.

What we never collect

• No Facebook credentials, cookies, or session data.
• No general browsing history. Content scripts run only on your dealership website and facebook.com's vehicle-listing form. Referral tracking records only the Listly partner-link journey described above.
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties beyond the processors named above (OpenAI, Google(Gemini), Stripe, FirstPromoter, and our hosting provider).

Storage & deletion

Data is stored on our hosting provider (Railway) in the United States. Cached cleaned-photo results have no automatic expiry today and are removed on request. To delete your account and associated data, email us and we will remove it within 30 days.

Marketing site

The listly.pro website loads its map imagery from CARTO (basemaps.cartocdn.com). When the map loads, your browser sends CARTO standard network data such as IP address and user agent; no Listly account data is shared with CARTO. The site's referral cookie is described above.
